Google Plus, LinkedIn and pinterest are far more important now and easier to get traffic from than Reddit, Digg, or even StumbleUpon. Those are NOT where I would look for quality writers, but then I know a lot of people and have an advantage in that area. Building blogging collaborations who know what is important to those involved who share knowledge, tips for monetizing, and focus on using the same blogging communities and social networks is key to achieving success faster. Personally I prefer the CommentLuv community as it builds relationships quickly and makes it easy to tell whose blogs are related to yours or of interest to you. "
We're up to $6250 in cash plus some awesome non-cash prizes including CommentLuv Premium plugin licenses, BlogEngage accounts, pro versions of landing page testing solutions, and much more. This will be HUGE. More details coming as quickly as we can update all the information. If anyone wants the latest Word doc that includes who is promoting, sponsors already on board, and what top bloggers will be competing just contact @GrowMap on Twitter, GrowMap on Skype or use the contact info at GrowMap.com/contact. If that blog had comments enabled I would offer that SpinLessPlates has an interesting CRM for small businesses but it doesn't handle email and I just found Nimble which is the closest CRM to what I've been searching for these past many years. Nimble integrates the major social networks and email into one platform. It is fairly new and it doesn't do everything we need, but since the CEO created GoldMine I expect they will keep adding features until it does. Definitely worth a look. I wrote a post about their benefits that includes some how-to screen captures. You can find it on my blog. I'll put the link in a separate comment so BizSugar mods can delete it if they don't like links. "
I hope business owners read this and take it to heart. Social Media sites CAN generate business but only if you use them to build relationships with people interested in what you're doing - NOT if you just use them to broadcast your message into the ether. "
