Why Google Has Made Twitter Essential
"Hi Lyceum, The partnership is unlikely make it any easier to find an older tweet. In our testing of the feature, only the five most recent tweets are displayed. Other tweets from an account may also be displayed in search results, but their is no guarantee of a specific tweet being displayed on the first page. This focus of this partnership is providing timely information - something that Twitter is brilliant at. "Why Google Has Made Twitter Essential
"We don't expect the search results to change. Tweets are simply another addition to results and another way for Google to provide fresh information. Your focus should definitely remain on publishing high-quality blogs/articles, which can then be shared on Twitter, giving your content increased exposure. "Why Google Has Made Twitter Essential
"Hi Tek Team! Thanks for the kind words! In terms of tweeting often, it really depends on your followers and when they are online. Generally, we recommend tweeting at least 5 times a day (every weekday) to maintain a good presence, but it may be that you need to tweet even more regularly than that, especially if you are new to Twitter and looking to build up a following. A couple of free tools that we would recommend are Followerwonk and Tweroid. Each of these help you find out when your followers are online and establish the best times to tweet. Better still, each pairs with another of our favourite tools, Buffer, so that you can schedule tweets to be published throughout the day. Sorry we haven't really given you a definitive answer, but we hope this helps! Thanks, Pea Soup Digital."PageRank is dead, here are the alternatives
"Thanks for the comment Lyceum - always good to hear from you. The reason for Google dropping PageRank is due to its ability to recognise problematic links (and sites selling them) in a number of different ways - ways that we don't see directly. In terms of evaluating a site ranking, Moz's page and domain authority tools have pretty much become the industry standard. We'd recommend installing the (free) MozBar as this is a great way to find out the authority of a website directly from search results. As always, quality links from respected sites are the biggest factor in helping a business achieve a high page/domain authority. Amazon's Alexa ranking is a decent tool and good for competitor research but it is not known for being wholly accurate. It's hampered by the fact that millions of websites do not have the Alexa toolbar installed and may not be ranked correctly. It is also let down by the fact that subdomains aren't ranked separately."PageRank is dead, here are the alternatives
"Hi Lyceum, A domain authority of 62 would indicate that BizSugar is a respected website. Based on it's link profile and the quality of its content. Moz's ranking scales from 0-100, so the closer to 100 a site is, the more respected it is. Sites like Wikipedia and Facebook, for example, have domain authorities of 100."SEO Myths Debunked
"Page Rank alternatives are already available in the form of Moz, Majestic and Ahrefs' Site Explorer tools, all of which are very useful for determine what sort of weight a website carries. Google says it has many ways of recognising problematic links and thus Page Rank is no longer needed, but that takes nothing away from the importance of quality inbound links. A "follow" link from a high-quality, relevant website is still the biggest factor in boosting the ranking of your website. "Subscribe
