Guerrilla Marketing Ideas: 5 Great Guerrilla Marketing Campaigns
"I've seen the one in Los Angeles a couple times, but it's usually pretty high in the sky where I can't hear it. I'm interested to see if the airships will actually look different or just be larger versions of the blimps--which is what I understand airships as."Small Business Article Roundup for Week Ending February 18, 2011
"Duncan, I agree LeBron is great, but the Cavs problems stem from much more than just losing LeBron. No one player is that vital to a team. A player can take you to the next level. For example turn a playoff team to a championship team or an ok team to a playoff team, but you don't tank from losing 1 player. There are a lot of things you have to consider beside LeBron leaving. First off, the Cavs lost more than just LeBron. They lost Z, they lost Shaq, they lost Varejao to injury, they lost Delonte West, and they fired Mike Brown and brought in a new coach (Byron Scott). They didn't bring anyone in to replace LeBron. True, you can't really replace LeBron, but say they would've got say Rudy Gay. That's a young and talented player who could've filled some of the void from LeBron leaving. Lastly, the Eastern conference is a lot stronger this year than it was last year. The Heat, Bulls, and Knicks, I'm sure I'm forgetting some teams, are all much better than they were last year. All of these factors, including LeBron leaving, contributed to the Cavs record setting losing streak. Mir "Let Your Employees Nap At Work
"Weird that Bizsugar doesn't inform me when someone has commented. Businessavante, you are correct if: - people are sleeping on the job - not everyone is allowed the 30 min nap break - the 30 mins couldn't come out of your lunch break However, in my scenario, the employer is encouraging his or her employees to take a nap after lunch. Assuming you take your lunch to work (possible), you could finish your lunch in 10-15 minutes. This would leave you over 30 mins to take a nap. The real problem is having a place to take a nap. Yes, it would be stupid to have employees sleeping at their desks. Not because people around them will think "oh this guy's sleeping on the job," (everyone can) but because it is very possible that a person may snore while taking a nap and this sound would be disturbing to coworkers. I didn't think it was necessary to talk about snoring when I wrote the article, but maybe I need to bring it up as another reason employers should have a nap room. Businessavante, check out Take a Nap! Change your life. by Sara Mednick. Note: I am in no way affiliated with her or the book company. I am just recommending the book. Check it out a the library if you don't want to purchase it. It's an interesting read."A Business & Social Networking Lesson from the 1981 Movie "Stripes" (Article & Kick-Butt Video)
"A big fan of the movie Stripes. I like your style, maybe because it reminds me of my own? Either way, using real world examples to illustrate business principles, etc. is a valuable skill. I could sit here and type a long comment with a bunch of jargon and bore everyone out of their minds. Yoni, you are wrong to say "I am a writer who has very little knowledge of the world of Business. I can't compete with other writers when it comes to SEO, Marketing or the like." First off, business is 51% results, 49% BS. This is to say that as long as you get results it doesn't matter how(I'm not condoning illegal activity). Whether you have gathered a huge business readership by relating aspects of Twilight to making money or giving SEO tips, you have gained a huge readership. That is what matters. At the end of the day, you are writing an article to spread a message. "« previous1 next »
