Interesting, Doc, but I don't think it's generally on the increase at all. Look at how people behaved in the 1910's & 20's - at ball games when Ty Cobb played. It was mayhem. Civility goes up & down slightly over time, and I think Too Many people see "now" as the worst time in history because so much more crime is reported to police & the news - WWII should be enough to wipe that away, if you think back a little.
