After four years of branding themselves as a leading micro-finance organization for entrepreneurs in poor and under-developed countries, Kiva decided last month to expand their outreach into the United States. Why? Is that consistent with their values? Does that portend well for entrepreneurs in the US? Not their lending, but perhaps the need for entrepreneurs for access to financing.
