An effective leader-manager “is responsible for the creation and communication of clear goals, together with the intelligent and enthusiastic application of the available resources, which will achieve the goals, in the most efficient manner possible.”
A leader-manager has the following six attributes and abilities:
1. A sense of clear purpose
2. Excellent communication skills
3. Rational, logical plans
4. Excellent conflict management
5. Inspirational personal management
6. Ability to motivate other people (leadership qualities)

Thanks so much for sharing this leadership overview here on BizSugar.com. Leadership is so critical to every part of business yet good leadership can sometimes be difficult to define and is often blended with concepts of management which may or may not be the same thing in certain instances.
