It sounds like you have a pretty solid whiteboard system that works well for you. Other things I have seen small business owners do (and that I do myself) is have a whiteboard calendar that looks a few months ahead to help plan meetings, projects, etc., a brainstorming whiteboard to keep article ideas and a whiteboard for invoicing projects so that it is visible where you stand each month in terms of your incoming revenues.

Could we start a brainstorm session here on how you could use the whiteboard? I have 3 small whiteboards as my personal Kanban workflow. I have written To-Do on the first whiteboard, Doing one the second one, and Done on the third one. I put post-it notes in different colors on the boards and move them from board to board. At the end of the workflow I have a cork billboard with a whiteboard for the weekly review.
