What makes you follow a leader?

Excellent tips. important for the leader. He needs to walk the walk and talk the talk. Just preaching others to do something doesn't cut it if the leader himself lacks integrity.

Thank you BizRock. Just remember though that at least 90% of the population of the world are not leaders. If you have not got the personality it takes to lead you will be managing. The best people who lack the personality it takes can hope for is to learn some leadership tactics to enable them to at least lead a bit and not just managing:-)
