This is a great article for a couple of reasons beginning with the idea not just of grammar but of quality and how important it is to a business. I suspect that this journalist's friend (and all the other people canceling their subscriptions) are really bothered by something else. The fact that the newspaper is just not important enough to them anymore. And so they won't buy it.
