For half a decade, businesses have had great success with creating content on their websites and sharing it to social media or other sites.
We’ve been taught that we have to have our own online real estate in order to be successful or in the event that a third party like Google or Facebook changes the rules that hurt our business.
Therefore, we should focus on creating content mostly for our own sites, optimize it for search, share to social and gather as many email addresses as we can.
But is that the best strategy in an ever evolving and changing digital landscape?
