The more knowledge you have on your subject, the better able you are to identify and fill the gaps for the market you serve.

This week we re-visit the concept circle via that case study I promised. You know...water, feathers, rubber pants....

Really nice job Jackie! I also like fishing. I was quite the Tomgirl growing up. I fished, had a bb-gun, built tree-houses with my brother and had an ant colony.

Thanks for the memories and great advice!

Thanks, I'm fond of fishing myself, but tend to play that down to my husband, otherwise he'd be trying to drag me off into the wilderness every weekend.

More power to us tomboys, I was always into "boy" things, couldn't be bothered with dolls, loved cars, bikes, their stuff was much more fun.

You've brought up a few memories for me here, so Thank You. :)

Jackie,

Must-read! An epic post, and that's a word I don't use very often.

Great information as always and you have a style that is out-of-the-ordinary; quite a good thing! Fun to read, always something to get the reader thinking.

As a life-long fisherman (though never of the fly-variety) I can definitely relate to the concept. I started as a young'un with a Snoopy Rod and Reel, progressed to a nice Zebco for trout and bass seasons in Pennsylvania and used to love a bit of deep-sea fishing during our yearly trip to Florida. Now, whenever we get up there, which is every few years, I do a bit of fishing in the Sea of Gallilee, known here as the Kinneret.

Thanks for more great advice and for touching on a subject near-and-dear to my heart!

Yoni

Wow, thanks Yoni

It would have been even more epic if I left it in once piece ;)

I can just see you now with your snoopy rod lol.

I'm not adverse to the odd spot of fishing myself its very meditative.

Glad to see you're still keeping your hand in, even if only occasionally. Sea of Gallilee sounds so peaceful.

Glad to evoke some happy memories.

J
