You are correct, looking out for those signals can make or break. The example of needing something now is a big one, though unfortunately it's not always possible to drop everything at any given moment. When we moved to our current location, the cable tv company we had been with for 5 years (very satisfied) said it would take a week to hook us up (it's a new neighborhood without all of the wiring). Another company that we contacted said they could be here the next day. Although we were very satisfied with the original company, we were not willing to wait a week, so we switched.

That is a great example and although it can be tough for some business to understand and appreciate the urgency it does open up opportunities for other businesses. By the way were you happy with the company you switched to?
