Business owners can cover many marketing miles by capitalizing on the spontaneous desire to get things done or clean things up.

Small business owners in particular should keep in mind, however, that they should make an effort to prepare their business for a possible sudden increase in sales. This means letting employees know about the blitz promotion or marketing strategy and making sure there is adequate inventory on hand.
