It’s March, spring is in the air! After the dreadful winter here in the Chicago area that just won’t die, I think we are all thinking spring!
With spring approaching, along with it comes a great opportunity for all of us to reach out to our communities and the kids in the community!

It brought to my mind Marty from Marty's Mowers. He sponsored our softball team. The investment on jerseys was probably minimal and it gave us a good feeling that somebody cared. It was a good investment for him with advertising and he did offer our parents 10% off the purchase of a new mower.

Nice post Jennifer. Steinbrenner though??? A very polarizing figure he was, at least outside of NYC. You are from Chicago so I'll think of it as find your inner Ditka. Da-Bears...

LOL! Yes from Chicago, with a die hard Cubs fan husband (& company founder) but he & our son love the Yankees! He is the coach and says by sponsoring it too, he is like Steinbrenner!

Could say Ditka, but Wirtz (Blackhawks) is a big name here too! Thanks for the reply!
