You're so right about "grand people" understanding the importance of voting. They probably do have a high percentage of the demographic voting because a lot of those people fought for the freedoms we enjoy today. The Boomers pose a real problem though. As they begin to enter the aged care industry, there's not enough room for them. I think they'll transform aged care just like everything else they've encountered. Let's hope it's for the better.

Very Good Points! The part about the elderly being the least influential voting group may be because politicians don't speak to their issues or listen to them - but boy do they vote!!! My Dad's nursing home had a long line every time. You couldn't keep the Great Depression/WWII generation away from the polls if you wanted to. But the Boomers - who knows?
