None of this discussion addresses the key problems related to the health care market like loosening regulation that would help small business, and maybe individuals, pool risk across state lines and in other ways for a consumer driven try at reforming the cost of health insurance. It's a pity that few proposals look at giving the power in health care back to the customer.
