Almost being sued by a major corporation such as the New York Times definitely isn't funny business. In fact, it's extremely frightening and stressful.

I agree that no one owns the news! Also News creation is dead by the meaning it used to be!

I think media companies will fight for it's brand, so.. I am sure that Ben learned the lesson!

i.e. While no one owns "the news", each source owns its version - they employ people to dig it up & report it.
