Great point, thanks Susan. I'm working on an article now about the Essential Elements of an Article Marketing Plan that has defining your target audience as point number 1, but now that I think about it, I should have written that article first :)

Hi Mel,

Your article had good points. The one point I would add is to make sure that where you distribute your content is where your potential or current customers visit or are involved otherwise it can be a waste of time.
