I have an uncle who living in the US. Before he use some card to call us. But now with the use of internet, phone and some application we can talk for free.
It is interesting to hear about different cultures - thank you for letting us know about this information.

Absolutely, things are changing in the world of tech - and things are much easier for us to communicate all over the world. That's a good thing. We keep up with family in Italy very inexpensively.
