Cindy,

It's a really great idea. Writers block is a definite problem at times for everyone. Compiling a "best of" is certainly a way to go. "Best Short Stories of -fill in the year-" is a best-seller every year. The publisher doesn't write stories, they simply read everthing out there and choose the cream-of-the-crop. It's a runaway bestseller every year, so it must be a winning formula!

I agree on this point Yoni, the whole thing will come down to quality in the end though. And although I somewhat agree with the topic over all, I find that much of what I write is usually because I have issue with a system and am trying to do my part to help change it for the better. However, I do see quite clearly, at times of not knowing what to write, or at times where I might be pressed for time, that content aggregation can indeed be a good method of information dissemination to our valued readership.

Nice post Cindy, and overall, a good read. I just feel sorry for those that don't get the whole quality requirement though. I see them dropping like rocks in SERP results from potential authority loss if they're not careful on what they let in, or link to :)
