Pagerank? Domain Authority? I'm confused! Do They Really Matter?

Little clarification here: domain authority is SEOmoz's best guess at how a site will perform in search. In other words, it's an educated guess as to how well a page will rank in Google. The only correlation between the two, is that SEOmoz is pretty good at figuring out what will rank well; the caveat is that it doesn't mean it's so.

I think Page rank and domain authority are important to a blog. Although, it should never be a basis for your popularity. Besides, these are usually important stuff especially if you're considering Direct advertisers. Thanks for the share in Bizsugar!

A blog pagerank and domain authority really matters a lot in my own opinion. It shows how effective and popular a blog is and most people are always looking out for such before judging a blog. Thanks for sharing

Yes, it shows the popularity of the blog but it should not be the "only" factor to judge how blog is performing.
