Wonderful post and once again I think the focus in social media networking needs to be not the number of connections so much as the right ones.

Really great article with lots of interesting insight. I like the idea! Maybe instead of "stop following people on Twitter", "carefully decide who to follow, and who to block" might be better. I check who's following before I decide to follow back, and have blocked a few "weirdos", or legitimate business people who seem to do nothing but "tweet themselves" all day, non-stop (who needs That in their feed?).
