The major social media controversy has left lots of Klout fans feeling cheated and deserted! My Klout score dropped from 74 to 57 (it's 56 now) and I've always considered Klout as a great system or at least a great system in Beta, but now I'm not so sure. Maybe the algorithm change was just a chance to gain some cheap publicity and do a Gap? Maybe Joe's just ignoring the people that helped build Klout and trying to keep the investors happy?
