It happens here and there. Facebook goes down, Instagram goes down, and everyone runs to Twitter to figure out WTF is going on. I want to talk about the importance of spreading your social media following and building your email list.

Dharlio: Thanks for your reply. I try to not dabble with too many social media tools, but it could be interesting to test out new ones, now and then. I will look into the matter of automatizing and see what I can do.

All the Best,

Martin

I've always said this Dharlio - too many things can happen. Like Facebook and Instagram crashing and Twitter changing the rules. You must diverify and have your own website and blog.

Yes! I do agree if a network does not work for you or your audience isn't there to concentrate on another network but it is important to build up your email list as well.

Good advice. I will focus on re-launching my newsletter and then create content around my podcasting work. I will continue to use Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. On the fifth place, I will rotate with services, e.g., Pinterest, Quora, Medium, Mix, Flipboard, etc.

Thank you! Try not to spread yourself too thin either and automate where you can
