Social media seems to be so much work! I have a business to run, and I'm not interested in adding more workload to my day. This is the conclusion a potential client drew from a discussion we had on strategy and monitoring a couple of days ago.

Very few business owners seem to grasp just how hard social media truly is when they get started. More than simply placing a post on your Facebook page or a tweet on your Twitter feed is necessary. Establishing engagement with your community is most important. Like building any other relationship, this takes time and effort.
