Agreed. I think all of these points are pretty crucial and #8 is certainly important, but so is not losing focus. Whether working part-time or in a situation where you have the money to carry you long enough to make your business model work, the irony is that on this side of the equation there is sometimes not sufficient pressure to force you to stick with one idea and follow the cash flow to profitability. It's a delicate balance.

This is a very practical article. Question #8 is the one that sinks many entrepreneurs -- they simply run out of money before they have a chance to prove their business. As aspiring entrepreneurs we would all like to think things will be different for us, and we'll be successful in a few months. It rarely happens fast, though, so it's best to be prepared for the long term.
