I remember c45 years ago when bankruptcy was a real scandal - like divorce used to be. The world has changed so much since then that most of the stigma is gone - now it's just a business decision people endure. In the 60's it was like having the scarlet letter on your jacket (since it was printed in the news paper the whole town knew).
