How do you develop good business ideas and the motivation to make them happen? Not many of us were born with a silver spoon in our mouths and not many of us will be at the very top of “who-is-who” in finance, technology and business circle.

Great post, Anthony:

I don't necessarily believe that a FULL business plan is necessary, like one of those thick book type plans. But I do believe that some type of road map is required to achieve your goals.

What I like to do is make "action lists" (my new word for checklists :).

At the beginning of each weak I make an action list for each day of the week, specifying the specific tasks I need to take action on and complete daily.

I couldn't do without my action lists because it gives me an unbelievable since of productivity and I know that I'm taking the right actions to propel me towards my goals. I try to make sure that I don't go to sleep without completing every action on my list and so far I've been successful at that.

I think, to start a business in a certain community, it is important first to determine the needs of the particular community. So that the opportunity to provide their need in exchange for a payment must be grabbed by a starting entrepreneur. Surely this can create a good Brand.

Good point you have made there because I honestly think that entrepreneurship is all about looking for opportunities where no one could ever imagine. Offer people what they need, and they will be willing to pay!

Hi Anthony,

Entrepreneurship isn't for everyone. In fact, some people would prefer not to have the stress, long hours and frustrations that often come with it. I wholeheartedly agreed with you that entrepreneurship is not for everyone. To me, it's like an unknown destination where only the strong and courageous ones will be able to succeed. I personally like where Anthony (the writer) mentioned "Many of us will work for others while many of us will actually be able to employ other people to work for us."
