A typical scenario goes something like this: A customer pulls up to a bank to use the ATM to quickly get some much needed cash. After inserting the ATM card and entering the PIN, the customer realizes that the “cancel” and “enter” keys on the keypad are not working. The transaction, therefore, cannot be canceled or finished. The customer enters the bank (hopefully the bank is open when this happens) to get someone to help but returns to find that the transaction has been completed, and the money from the transaction is gone.
