Improve customer service: Eliminate bureaucracy!
"Bernd, Thanks for sharing this post with the BizSugar community. I agree that a bureaucratic response to customers is never a good idea. Sometimes we set policies in an effort to anticipate the most likely customer issues that might arise. But employees should always feel empowered to go the extra mile when a customer problem simply doesn't fit into our neat little grid. If your business is automated, fine. Just make sure customers having trouble with that automation have a way to contact a real human being for help when necessary. "#Gangham Style, Low Quality EMD, Facebook Adsense, Thesis 2.0
"Hi Francisco, Thanks for sharing a timely post with the BizSugar community about the viral success of Gangnam Style. It's interesting to note how completely a simple video can cross language and culture barriers and is probably something all online small business owners and marketers should be thinking about right now. How can we make our messages equally translatable with even a fraction of this kind of success?"Paying the Right Price for Your Small Business Website
"Hi Holly, Thanks for sharing the guest post. These points should all be at least food for thought for those business owners who still haven't given serious consideration to a Web presence. The key, however, is to avoid being intimidated by the issues raised. There are easy ways to get started and then expand over time, so don't let the fear of doing it wrong stop you from getting started."How Technology is Transforming the Way People Work
"Hi Kimberly, Great points about where things are headed. It's really important for small businesses to leverage these technologies as a way of growing and staying productive in an increasingly competitive market. Awesome post and thanks for sharing it with the BizSugar community. "Top-notch Titles – Tips for Bloggers
"Hi Jonny, Titles for posts are indeed hugely important, and not only to attract potential readers who might find your post in a list of search engine results, but for those you share your post with on social media too. Does that title grab people's attention when it appears in a Facebook or Google+ stream? How about when it shows up on a social bookmarking page for a community like BizSugar? It had better, or readers will go no further."Too Many Small Businesses Still Ignore Social Media
"Hi Martin, It's amazing that we're still writing and reading posts on this subject, but, of course, the reason is that it remains so very relevant. Why aren't more people aware of the difference social media can make for their businesses? Who knows? But it's certainly time for them to sit up and pay attention!"Subscribe
Secure your cloud-stored data
"The main concern in cloud computing remains data security and with good reason. Data must be protecting no matter where it is stored, if your business is to keep operating effectively. To do less invites disaster. There is, of course, the danger of many kinds of important data being obtained including bank account sign-ins and other information depending on the online tools you use. Whether it's more dangerous than storing all this stuff on your home hard drive is debatable, but the main focus should always be on taking precautions no matter how your data is stored. "
