In any case, consider this: The U.S. has a $7.25 minimum wage. Australia's is $16.88. As far as I know, they haven't started using robots over there. Maybe the tech hasn't caught up yet. What has happened though is that a disproportionate number of teens are employed over there vs. the US, since Aussie laws allow employers to pay teens less than minimum.
