We don't know their businesses as well as they do, but we try to help if we see obvious problems as far as proofing (a huge headache for non-specialists to manage on a huge scale) and color reproduction go. We point out if certain color combinations in their submitted designs might be a bad idea once they print it - which is a huge part of why we always have several pairs of eyes over at our side reviewing material for proofing. As far as I know, most of our major competitors don't do this and just print whatever you send them. That method's got advantages for both the printer and the customer, but we ultimately feel it's bad for customer customer experience - and our repeat business has proven us right, time and again.
