Do What Scares You (AKA Managing Change) Part 2
"Hi Elli. As a kid, my older brother's friend was a Golden Gloves boxer. He said something then that still fascinates me nearly half a century later. He wasn't afraid of a Bull, because he knew where he stood with a Bull - but Cows scared him - he was never sure what they were thinking, whether they'd stampede. Human Nature. "I once had the department's typing speed record - by typing FU over & over as fast as I could with 2 index fingers*. Verrry low accuracy, but the most wpm of anyone - I couldn't type for s#!t, either. Like George Costanza said BS'ing about designing the new addition to the Guggenheim - "n' it really didn't take very long, either!" *One of those late 2nd shift, nothing-to-do moments."Following Back is a Choice Not an Obligation

If I feel they're a quality outfit that's not relevant, I won't follow-back, but I won't block them, either. If I have even the slightest indication that something ain't above board, if they're totally irrelevant, or if they have over 10k-20k tweets (depending - how many is up to my discretion), I'll actively block them. I also block lots of @tweeters - for too many tweets, or because some are highly offensive. I block all spammers. Duncan"How to Develop a New Product
"I didn't see any reference at all to marketing your new product idea. The greatest product ever invented will flop w/o a very well-conceived & highly focused marketing strategy - an idea that should be realized even before the product is drawn on anything other than a napkin. Duncan"Subscribe
5 Reasons Why Your Social Media Efforts Aren’t Working?
"Hi Annemarie. I wonder if they closed off comments because it became too much trouble to delete the spammers?- or too much work to answer? i.e. "If it's too hot in the kitchen, don't be a cook!" Duncan"
