"As a student of geo-politics with an emphasis on Russia, I find it interesting to watch Cuba, an old Soviet satellite. It is good to see some small steps but it is crazy that the old guard still refuses to change its ways. All it would take is some serious market reform and improvements in human rights and there would be massive influxes of international aid and assistance from the World Bank and private enterprise.
