"Hi Susan, I just got a beautiful pair of hiking boots that we ordered from the States. They cost an arm and a leg as they are pretty high quality. I also got nailed 65% when they went through Israeli customs which was a bummer. But... In addition to the boots which cost $199 (a very fair price in my opinion), the company sent a free cleaning kit, leather polish, extra shoe laces, extra insoles and a shoe-horn...all for free. Then a funny thing happened: Several days later I got a phone call from the company rep. He asked me how I like the boots, if they fit correctly (always a difficult venture - ordering shoes online without trying them on first). I was also told I will be receiving coupons for discounts on future purchases. Who am I going to turn to for my next shoe purchase? Who will I send friends and family to who are looking for similar products and a great experience? And which company website did I go to to place a glowing review? You got it! "Joking is fine Susan! No harm done. I was contemplating this morning however that in college I bought a car for less than the boots cost...a 1980 Volkswagen Rabbit for $300 from a student who had failed out. The Rabbit lasted me two years; I can only hope the boots last as long :) Yoni"Subscribe
