New Harvard Study Shows Fear by Bloggers in the Arab World
"I think autocratic and despotic regimes have always spent a great deal of time, effort and resources in spying on their own citizens. Technology and posting in public forums is a dual-edged sword: it makes it easier to spread your word and also easier to have Big-Brother watch."Social Share Buttons – Keep It Simple
"Just getting around to commenting now. had to run quick this morning. I don't have shares because right now I am a rogue-blogger without much of a home other than temp wordpress blogs that I set up anew almost every time I post. I also agree...I have seen share bars that block out portions of the article. That's a bummer. Hoops and ponies? I love it! I once tried to do a plug-in for the BizSugar vote button on Wordpress. I ended up with an aneurism I think. Maybe it was just a bad case of heartburn with a nervous breakdown. I sucjk at technical stuff. I will just stick with things I am an expert in: 1) Walking dogs 2) Cleaning up dog poop 3) Laughing 4) Napping 5) Making sure my diet contains enough fiber 6) Blinking Yoni "Paying for Compliments: Online Retailers Recruit Fakes for Positive Reviews
"Dwayne, It seems like EVERYTHING is for sale online these days. Facebook friends. Twitter followers. Digg votes. Compliments. It's INSANE! Coming from a "good old days guy" like me...I read this article that one day a huge electromagnetic pulse from the sun might bombard the earth. Nobody killed, but it will fry every electronic circuit on the planet. No more computers. No more microwave ovens. no more cars..and no more Twitter followers for sale. Truth is I can't wait. Back to pencil and paper, horse and buggy and grinding our own flour. Yoni"Does Security Fencing Work?
"Sean, Good article. Here in Israel we started building a VERY big security fence several years back. In fact if I look out of our back patio, too dark right now, it is clearly visible. Before the fence was built, there were suicide bombings and terrosits infiltrations VERY regularly. There were bus bombings, cafes blown up, etc. Now there is the fence, well over a hundred kilometers if I'm not mistaken. Up to 30 feet high in places. It is controversial, but no matter how you look at it, IT WORKS! "In 2002, the year before construction started, 457 Israelis were killed by terrorists who had infiltrated. Since 2009 that number has dropped by 90%." (From an article) I have never needed to fence in a business, but if the "Geder Hafrada," our security fence, is any indication, fences work! "How Brett McKay Turned A Passion For Reclaiming The Lost Art Of Manliness Into A Unique Business
"I always thought Fabio was quite manly. I'm serious! The big problem was that he was totally miscast: 1) The cover-boy for romance novels 2) I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Had he been an NFL player, an Olympic discus-thrower or playing the part of a construction worker on a sit-com, he would have been seen differently. Instead, he has been nothing but cannon-fodder for Leno, Conan and Letterman. I actually feel pretty bad for the guy."Subscribe

"Rush, Not a classic; not a word that suits my thinking. Humorous, a little bit crude, and somewhat out of the ordinary...I can live with that. Yup, ditch the socks...it's not the size of the Twitter boat, it's the motion... Yup, you know. Yoni"
