The phrase "direct mail is dead" has become a bit of a marketing cliche. While I agree that I generally pay less attention to direct mail than I did years ago, I seem to receive just about as much mail volume as ever. Anyway, the attached article offers some tips on getting more from your targeted direct mail campaigns. There's also a juicy nugget about Microsoft and Google using direct mail. Maybe this marketing channel isn't so bad off after all.

Being selective on choosing people when sending out a campaign gives excellent results.
