Hi David, You're right about the he/she/they usage. I do find I use "they" to shorten the more correct "he or she". Sometimes grammar precision has to be sacrificed for space. No one has mentioned the who/whom problem but that's one where I see a lot of errors.

People often use the word "they" when they mean "he or she" or "somebody". Even I have fallen into that trap sometimes.
