In what is becoming an increasingly competitive business environment, advertisers are beginning to turn to an alternative approach to communicate their messages to their target audience. If the separation between blog posts’ editorial and advertising sides was once a gulf, it is now diminished to the size of a sidewalk crack.

Nizam...I wish to share in best wishes upon your graduation and your beginning your army service. Take care of yourself. I hope that somehow through your many army duties you will find the time to blog. My husband Yoni and I are big fans of your articles!

Nizam (Omgzam), Congratulations on your graduation and best of luck in the army! I will pray that you stay safe while serving and protecting your country. So, a big question. Will you still be posting your great blogs while you're in the army? I hope so!

Yoni

Let's remember something, by the way: In the US at least, it's illegal and punishable by a fine of $11,000 to write a blog post promoting something without making clear that you're BEING paid. See here:

Nizam (omgzam), Thanks for an excellent post today. You are 100% correct. Blogging has become a great way to advertise a business. Unfortunately as you stated, sometimes the line is crossed between a blog that has a small-sales pitch somewhere in it and those that are outright advertisements with very little content.

I also see that you are studying at Singapore Polytechnic in your senior year, so I wanted to wish you great success with your studies!

Thanks Yonatan! I'm graduating next week and off I'll go to the army. (In Singapore, it's compulsory for males to serve the army for 2 years, sigh)
