Since many businesses sell used equipment, office materials, and other related items on Craigslist, they should be aware of who they may be dealing with and take steps to reduce the chance they will be taken in by the many variety of scams that seem to be occurring. Individuals should also be aware of the types of scams that occur so that they do not become victims of fraud.

After all the criminal activity reported there a few years ago - some of it violent crime - I'd never set foot on Craig's list. I also didn't appreciate the his "so what" attitude when initially presented with the facts.
