Admirable! so much to learn. In order for us really to discover ourselves is to look and examine our inner self, our hidden emotions, skills, and our limitation as well.

Great points on self-discovery!

An old expression on music is: "Music is the universal language - it speaks to everyone."

My own thought an All art is: "If the artist has to explain their work to be understood, they failed - period!" (Art is about communicating an idea or feeling through art, not blather.) I came up with this after reading/hearing so many explanations of modern art like this: "You don't understand, the artist was...". (I Did understand, but maybe I didn't like their work.)
