I am still reading The Art of the Start: The Time-Tested, Battle-Hardened Guide for Anyone Starting Anything by Guy Kawasaki for the on line entrepreneurial book club.
In Chapter 4, Guy discusses the Art of Writing a Business Plan. I totally agree with Guy, that “the document itself is not nearly as important as the process that leads to the document. Even if you aren’t trying to raise money, you should write one anyway.” BUT...
