The owner of a kitchen and bath renovation company had signed a contract with a customer for $18,500 to install new cabinets and counters in the kitchen, plus cabinets in the garage. After the contract was signed, one of the company’s salespeople said to the company owner, “I thought we only did work inside the home, like the kitchen and the bath.”
