For every industry it might be a little different. But I would look at how many followers that particular person has, scroll thru their feed and look at engagement and what they are posting. I would also check out their website and other social platforms to determine authenticity. A message to them never hurts either - on their website, how many pageviews and visitors are they receiving? How active are they in the space you are trying to reach? We will be going more in depth on this topic next week on our blog. "
I would probably focus on building and gaining followers for your Facebook business page first. A group page could be a nice offering down the road to offer followers (or purchasers as an incentive) to learn more about you and the brand etc. "
Depending on what the clients strategy is - Instagram is a bit of a different strategy + you have to have a dedicated person for photos (taking and posting) and engagement. Facebook you can focus on curating content to fill gaps, but I don't recommend that on Instagram (unless you are working with someone to do re-posts)"
Great comment! Yes, if a company does have someone 'in their office' who can capture great content a few times a week, IG is a great place right now! It comes down to time and nature of the business. And sometimes just jumping in and seeing what works! A little a/b testing is always good (if time is not an issue ;) ) "
