Great post Joe. I would say cloud, mobile and data analytics are the most important trends every small business owners need to be aware of and take advantage of. There is sea change happening in terms of cost efficiency, customer buying behavior and ability of small business owners to learn about their customers as a result of these trends. Anyone who is not positioned to take advantage of them stands to lose."
I agree that integration can provide more functionality and automation for many business processes however as you correctly stated it is not for everyone. It needs some degree of tech-savvy. Hiring someone who can do it for you can pay for itself in terms of efficiency."
