"Beside blog reading, I think a lot of people are using Kindle - my sister, a retired Librarian who reads voraciously, has one! She still reads real books, too. Book sales - like newspaper & magazine sales are destined to continue their decline. (I prefer real books & magazines over reading off the internet - they don't go "poof". "Hi Yoni. We're trying to keep up with the bots - it only takes them a few seconds to excrete their book-length spam comments if you watch the 'live' page. We noticed about a month ago - when the bot attacks started - that they're targeting this post - but also some others. If we remove this, they'll just glom-on somewhere else.
