Does Gender Matter In Business Leadership?
"Hi Elli. When Kramer saw that Jerry couldn't throw out his beat-up old tennis racket, he elicited Elaine's help in executing his living will: Kramer: "You're perfect. You're a calculating, cold hearted businesswoman, and when there's dirty work to be done, you don't mind stompin' on a few toes." (She fluffs her hair, while beaming at the "compliment".) Attorney: "Situation #4: You're breathing on your own, you're conscious, but with no muscular function..." Elaine: "Yank it like yer startin' a mower!!!" "Hi Miranda. We had some local major building contractors who were known not to pay their sub-contractors for work when it was done (going against the legally binding contract). They were really "cute" - they held the reigns on all the big projects, and would pay for the last job only if you did a second job - always behind one lump-sum payment. Everyone knew, and everyone hated them. Lots of smart tradesmen went into home improvement to skirt the issue, and did very well. Duncan"So You Want To Be A Guest Post Blogger!
"Craig, I don't understand how your own guest-posting rule #2: "Is Exclusive to Craig Sowerby and Not Submitted Elsewhere on the Net" fits in with your statement above that after ProBlogger had rejected a guest submission, you: "took the same article and added it over to MaxBlogPress" Duncan"Have You Heard Of Quora?
"Interesting, Renee. I remember reading about Quora, but I didn't remember that others can modify someone else's answer. I would find that much more than annoying, it'd be a deal-breaker. I don't mind being contradicted, but I don't want some Yayhoo editing my thoughts. Duncan"7 Steps to Sell Anything to Anyone
"Hi Jian. #2, "Time Distortion - Pretending They Already Are (customers)", may sometimes work, but it can really back-fire, too. I remember years ago when Fox had a bad habit of hyping their shows for SIX MONTHS before they aired - the idea being that "everyone already loved the show" (which had never aired). Every time they did it, I made it a point to NEVER watch the show - including even a few moments when channel surfing. I deeply resented the tactic, and I "paid 'em back". There are modern examples - including high tech toys based on fruit, etc., that also annoy me - No, I Don't want Any of it!! Duncan p.s. Is "Jian26" a reference to the straight-bladed Chinese sword, sometimes called a T'ai Chi sword? "Subscribe

"That's a beautiful shot, Ivin. As a hobbyist wide-angle landscape photographer, I see the natural beauty all on its own - I don't see a story with a human in it. (I'm not helping with the story, but I am telling the truth.) Duncan"
