Is the Job of "Rogue Nuclear Scientist" Suddenly Becoming a Much More "Dangerous" Profession?
"That would make 13 of the best: These 5, Three killed by gunmen on motorcylces, Three by bombs under cars, And 2 who disappeared without a trace. Much safer I suppose to simply teach physics in university?"Save For Retirement on a Shoestring: A Guide for Small & Home-Based Business Owners
"Nice job Adam! Advice we all can and should follow. I saw a story yesterday on Fox News though. Quite worrying. It said that although many might be able to squeak through retirement by the skin of their teeth, this will be a generation in which a lot of poeple who worked their entire lives will have little or nothing to bequeath to their children upon their passing. In past generations, the death of parents, in addition to sorrow, often meant a nice inheritance. I'm wondering without this nest-egg to get started with whether the next generation will stumble."Using Sex to Sell: Clever Commercial Advertisement or Distasteful Marketing? (Youtube Clip)
"Duncan As a woman, I don't find it offensive. It's done pretty tastefully and nothing you wouldn't see at the beach. If any publicity is good publicity, if it gets people to look, it's a positive. It certainly will stay in people's minds. I'm sure a small % of people would take issue with it though."How Journalists Can Use Social Media To Get More Information On A Story
"Danger. DANGER! Remember that first reports of news events are often sketchy at best, filled with rumor and innuendo and often come from unsubstantiated sources. Passing false or misleading info on to others can make you look quite bad. Always validate for accuracy. Rivkah"Morality in Advertising: Why Did This Budweiser 9/11 Commercial Only Run Once?
"Rochelle Rochelle (So nice, you gotta say it twice!), I like the accompanying explanation. Budweiser did not want it to turn into an ad which would increase sales by using the suffering of others. It cost millions to produce and only ran once. That way it would be seen purely as a tribute. Class act and a great lesson for companies that use lowly tactics to make money."Sealing the Deal (Part II of II): Earning Reputation
"Never forget as some companies find out, an image can take years to buld and seconds to fall apart. My point: the recent Delta Airlines fiasco. They were charging US servicemen and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan extra baggage fees for their equipment. Some way to thank heroes. It is a PR disaster!"Subscribe
