Personal effectiveness - a measure of your ability to achieve goals
"Hi Chris, This is a fantastic post. You always deliver such value. I believe that personal effectiveness is key to achieving a more full-filled life and getting to a much higher level of productivity. There's so many people who go throughout life with no clear course of action and they believe that they aren't able to achieve their dreams. If they would only take the time out to set clear concise goals and actually put in the effort to achieve them, they have every ability to reach them and beyond. "Hi Kim, This is a wonderfully written piece and very informative. You do a great job at breaking down the specific reasons why businesses still need websites outside of Facebook. I completely agree with your points. At the end of the day, Facebook at anytime can decide to take down your page. With a website only YOU have the power to take it down. YOU have full say so over it and that's the true power of having/owning your own website. I would also emphasize the importance of building a customer/subscriber list as well from your website. With a loyal customer list, you'll always be in business. Thanks for sharing this valuable post with us on BizSugar. I appreciate it! Ti"Connect and Give Rather than Ignore and Take
"Wonderfully written post, Sian. I agree, building up strong connections and relationships are extremely beneficial for various reasons. I've made several connections with high profile and up and coming bloggers that have proven to be very beneficial to me. It's all about giving and helping people get what they want, if you do that, you'll always get what you want. Thanks for sharing this post with our BizSugar community. I appreciate it! Ti"Social Media - Your "Digital Duct Tape"
"Jon, I totally agree with you. Social media is the best thing since sliced bread in my book. I've been solely focusing on driving traffic to my blog through mainly social media and other high leveraged outlets. Social media is SO versatile and you can use it for anything from branding, traffic generation, and list building. I use social media for all 3 and it's been working wonderfully for me. Not to mention how fun it is to connect / build relationships with other people. Thanks for sharing this post with our community over at BizSugar. I really appreciate it! Ti"How to Over Deliver
"Hi Christina, You hit the nail on the head with this post. I'm all about over delivering and adding as much value as possible to my audience. I run a internet marketing/traffic generation blog and you definitely have to over deliver to really stand out in such a niche. A true world class business that turns into a global enterprise is built on the back of good strong values - as you've laid out in this awesome post. "I definitely agree with this post, Brad. I just wrote a guest post about this very thing. Social media is a great way to build your brand, traffic and customer base. So many people shy away from social media because they're not willing to put in the effort that it requires. They'd rather stick to SEO because they think it's easier. But, in actuality it's much easier to leverage social media. The focus with social media is to build relationships first and build social proof. That's the exact approach I've taken and it's worked wonders for my brand, traffic and business. Thanks for sharing this post with us. I appreciate your insights on this topic. Ti"Subscribe

Why You Should Stop Using Facebook (And What You Should Do Instead)
"A fantastic article, Brad. I 100% agree with you. More businesses should spend their time building their OWN list, not spending more money to try to reach Facebook's list that, which, as you mentioned, you have to PAY to reach. I use the social networks such as FB and Twitter for the purpose of increased social engagement with my audience, that's it. I can't depend on these platforms to build my list for me. Yes, a chunk of my traffic comes through social medias, but I've yet to spend a dime to generate it. And, I don't plan on too anytime soon. Thanks for sharing the fabulously written article with our BizSugar community. I appreciate it! Ti"
