Write Your Book!
"David, An EPIC post on book writing! Great information and all the right reasons! I am currently writing two books: I'm on page 439 of a modern, urban-take on Dickens' Great Expectations and about 390 of a Revolutionary War love story. It's taking far too long! Perhaps one day I will write about business writing itself. In any case, I agree 100%; nothing says you have "arrived" as much as having a published book! Great post! Regards, Yoni"Write Your Book!
"David, Sound advice to put one aside...It's hard though, they are my babies! Anyway, I've gotten literary work published in some great magazines and journals, but the book would be the "jackpot." That being said, in the fiction market, I fully realize that I have a better chance of getting struck by lightning, run over by a truck and swept away in a flash flood...all on the same day! "Susan, Thanks for your kind comments and feedback! Sounds great a Billy Joel concert! I never made it to one myself. Was it in Australia? You are right about the reference points; I was so busy thining cross0cultural that I really paid no attention to the generational issue. Great point! Are you doing a third post this week? I'm not. No more energy. All the best to you and I'll keep looking out for your next great article! Yoni"Too Many Ideas and Not Enough Action
"Susan, Fantastic article and advice! I read your mind and knew you were posting today even before you uploaded to BizSugar! Already commented on your website. Firstly, Not having a boss tell you your ideas are no good is indeed great! Conversely, not having a boss think your ideas are great and pass them off as his or her own is also great! I’ve had this happen. The last time it was my impetus to quit and become a freelancer! You are so right about the small steps and the action plan. I tend to be a procrastinator as many are. I tend to get ideas and say…tomorrow. Tomorrow becomes next week, next month and next year! I will take your great advice among which is to start issuing myself deadlines. Many thanks to my friend and esteemed “Marketing Coach!” Yoni "Subscribe

"Shawn, Big coincidence: I just saw that you live in the Lehigh Valley. Before moving to Israel, I lived in Easton. Easton High School class of '84. Anyhow, if you are a long time resident: do you remember Joe Carcione from Channel 6 News, the "Greengrocer?" He was a great Italian guy that used to teach viewers about shooping for fruits and veggies. I was going to ask you about the Lehigh Valley and then the article became the impetus. Yoni"
